Airsoft Auckland

Members games

Members games are designed for those more experienced airsoft players.
Players will need to be an existing ASA club member, or special invite by the Event Organiser, to attend.
Events are generally about 5-6hours long, with no lunch break. However, depending on the game structure, there is usually a base-camp for each team, where players can take a breather to eat and hydrate. This is also a place where players can stow their gear, ie: backpacks and ammo, if they decide not to take them on skirmish.

Events are more team-work based, and objective oriented.

We have fields all over the Auckland area. Please consult the appropriate game thread for information on what field the game is being run.
Members only games are intended to limit attendance to those known to the club and to promote a higher standard of play to an induction game as well as provide a more immersive gaming style.

Team formation

Attending players will be split up to form teams, as required by the DS or Event Organiser, to ensure a good balance exist with club members, Nomad Players, and external club attendees. This is also to encourage players who do not usually work together, to work together in the same unit.
Teams will usually have a team leader, to ensure teamwork and coordination. This role can be swapped out by way of mutiny through rotation of any alive player.

Guest teams / Clubs

ASA welcomes teams outside Auckland to play at our members games. Please contact the ASA Committee or the Event Organiser to register your intention to attend and we will work to providing a place for you at our event.

Non paid ASA members

From time to time an Event Organiser may wish to invite non ASA members to a members only event. It is essential that all non ASA members get permission to attend or they will risk being turned away. To become a member and be permitted to attend all members events please see our page on joining the club.
