New to airsoft :) any help ?

Hi everyone ! I'm moving to Auckland next in Feb and I am super keen to get into airsoft (I didn't know there was even an airsoft scene in nz till this month lol) I'm not sure if this threads permitted bbut am I able to get some help in acquiring gear for airsoft I.e good/bad weapon brands, high cap or mid cap, AEG vs GBB? I saw I can get help from your armourer if I become a member but seeing as I won't be there for a few months I'd rather wait to pay to do that
